Are you interested in beginning your zero waste journey but you aren't quite sure where to start?
First we recommend learning more about how the zero waste movement started. Check out Zero Waste Home by Bea Johnson at your local library.
Did you know a significant portion of our trash comes from food products?
When you go out to eat, we recommend taking a "zero waste kit" that has silverware, a thermos for coffee or drinks, and a container for leftovers at your favorite dive.
When you leave home don't forget to also grab a water bottle and a reusable bag.
While we do have recommended products linked below, we do recommend you check out your own kitchen drawers or your nearest secondhand store before buying a new product. (If you do click on any of the products below, we just want to let you know that they are affiliated with third party vendors).
